The Coral Cartography project will be hosting a coral ID workshop (specifically Seapens) on the 18th May. Coral Cartography is a collaborative project, working towards merging coral reference collections for the Atlantic. Please note that this is not a training workshop but is for experienced coral annotators. Places are limited, so an application process will be announced, but if you would like more details, please email Jaime Davies (Jaime.Davies@unigib.edu.gi).
The Icebreaker will be hosted at the University of Gibraltar (Europa Point) the evening of the 18th May.
The conference dinner will be held at the Sunborn Hotel on Thursday 21st May. It will be a dining experience consisting of a 3-course menu (specific menu to follow). The venue has capacity for all attendees, so additional tickets can also be purchased.
Two field trips are provided to enable participants to visit the most popular sites in Gibraltar on Friday 22nd May. Diving is also available in Gibraltar, with various options (try-dive, 2 dive package, night dive etc.). Dolphin adventure offers a trip to see the resident dolphins up close in the Bay of Gibraltar. The tour leaves from Marina Bay (adjacent to Ocean Village). There are several sailings per day, so we have left this open for participants to book the best time slot.
